• Full time three year fixed term contract with the likelihood of extension
• Generous total remuneration package up to $191400 for the right applicant which includes:
  • Cash component up to $156000

About the role:

The Manager Commercial Services will be responsible for leadingthe development of the organisations land and property commercialportfolio including Busselton Margaret River Airport BusseltonJetty Busselton Jetty Tourist Park and associated contractsleases licences and other third party agreements.

The role will drive commercial decisionmaking identifyinvestment and growth opportunities and lead outcomes that balancestrong financial returns to the City with community benefit riskmanagement and long term sustainability.

This is a role that will suit an individual who can think beyondbusiness as usual and confidently shape commercial strategy in acomplex operating environment.

What youll bring to the role:

The ideal candidate will align with the Citys Values and beable to demonstrate the below competencies in addition to arelevant tertiary qualification:

• High level of management skills demonstrated through at least five years in a similar role.
• Demonstrated business acumen and commercial development experience with the ability to recognise and develop commercial opportunities to fruition.
• A proven ability to operate at a strategic level.
• Strong problem solving critical thinking and conceptual skills.
• Demonstrated experience in economic and business development.

Pre-employment requirements:

• Current C Class Drivers Licence.
• National Police Clearance (less than six months old).
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by the City).
