GENERAL SUMMARY:The Floor Worker is responsible for packaging palletizing and moving our restaurant paper products within our facility. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists Machine Operators in finishing packaging and palletizing finished pallets and individual boxes of finished product throughout our facility. Ensures areas around machines and walkways are kept clear of obstructions and are in labeling boxes. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of safe manufacturing to be thorough and to work quickly and accurately. Ability to work to communicate effectively with team members. Education Experience and Certification:High school diploma or GED manufacturing or distribution experience Requirements:Involves working in a manufacturing setting with machinery loud noise and forklift traffic.
