What youll do

As aSenior Ports & Marine Structural Engineer based in Brisbane youll work within Australias leading ports and marine team. You will contribute to some of the countrys most significant port maritime infrastructure sustaining capital and major defence shipyard projects of national importance (including AUKUS shipyards News Joint venture to design submarine yard in South Australia).

• Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery.

• Work with high-performing and successful multi-disciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.

• Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions.

• Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions.

• Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance.

You will join Aurecons global centre of excellence in Ports Marine & Coastal.

We have a proud history of shaping most of the port infrastructure in Queensland and beyond over the past 50 years.

You will get to work with and help lead an eminent group who provides services for our industrial clients port clients and energy clients across many sectors and markets.

What youll bring

• Relevant engineering qualifications and 6 years experience in marine structural and port engineering.

• Proven ability to shape lead and deliver projects across the full lifecycle.

• Strong track record of building trusted client relationships through high-quality delivery with solid project and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive approach to learning and developing alongside industry-leading technical experts.

• Ability to communicate complex marine and structural concepts clearly to clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong structural engineering foundations with the capability to develop bespoke design solutions and mentor junior team members.

• The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.
