We are currently seeking an experienced Facility Technician to join our team.

Position Overview

The Facility Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance repairs and janitorial services to ensure the cleanliness safety and overall functionality of company facilities. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient operations by maintaining building systems equipment interior spaces and exterior grounds in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
• Inspect troubleshoot and complete minor repairs to building systems and equipment.
• Replace light bulbs filters and other consumable items.
• Assist with facility upgrades improvements and renovation projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs inspections and work order records.

Janitorial & Housekeeping Duties

• Clean and sanitize restrooms break rooms offices and common areas.
• Sweep mop vacuum and dust floors surfaces and fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal procedures.
• Restock janitorial and restroom supplies (soap paper towels toilet paper etc.).

Grounds & Exterior Maintenance

• Maintain exterior areas including snow removal lawn care and debris cleanup.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local regulations.
• Assist with emergency response procedures when required.

Other Duties

• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
• 13 years of experience in facility maintenance and/or janitorial work
• Basic working knowledge of plumbing electrical and HVAC systems
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment power tools and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail time-management and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capable of bending climbing kneeling and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
