Roles and Responsibilities:

• Technical bid development and negotiation. Owns the technical analysis of customer inquiries RFQs or tenders to determine proposal requirements scope of supply and winning equipment configurations. Matrix leadership of technical team including Application engineering EHS product engineering renewables product line and all other technical disciplines for proposals
• Requires specialized knowledge across product lines markets sales processes or customer groups. Requires strong commercial awareness and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory including control of resources.
• Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
• Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects product lines markets sales processes campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
• Manages a small to medium team of senior professionals as well as lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements risk and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science Technology Engineering and Math) with significant experience.

Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise:

• Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level
• Ability to lead teams in the development of compelling proposal strategy documents to secure profitable business
• Ability to Analyse design and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
• Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.
• Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalogue within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.

Business Acumen:

• Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding peoples roles can foresee obstacles identify workarounds leverage resources and rally teammates
• Understand how internal and/or external business model works and facilitate active customer engagement
• Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes
• Able to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize using presentation and storytelling concepts.
• Possess extensive knowledge of full solution catalogue within a business unit and proficiency in discussing each area at an advanced level
