Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented and reliable individual looking to build your accounting experience in a growing company Inline Group Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Assistant to join our team on a part-time contract basis (2530 hours per week) for a 4-month term. This role is ideal for a summer student. If you enjoy working independently thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in accuracy and organization we want to hear from you!
What Youll Be Doing
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management Process accounts payable manage credit card transactions and maintain accurate vendor records to support smooth financial operations.
Payroll Support Assist with employee setup and provide backup support for payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Expense Processing Review and process employee expense reports ensuring compliance with company policies.
Document & Audit Support Maintain organized financial records and assist with documentation and audit preparation.
Collections Assistance Provide support with collections activities as needed.
Team Support Step in to support accounting functions during team member absences and vacations.
What Were Looking For
Entry-Level to Early Career Experience Ideal for a summer student or candidates with 14 years of relevant accounting experience.
Relevant Education Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in Accounting Finance or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Accounting Knowledge Exposure to accounts payable payroll support expense processing or general accounting administration is an asset.
Independent & Reliable Ability to manage routine tasks independently with strong attention to detail.
Highly Organized Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
