Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Mechanicsburg PA
Job Type: Long-Term Contract
Schedule: MondayFriday 40 hours/week (Core hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM; flexible start time)

Position Overview

Navitas Partners LLC is looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-level system development and enhancement initiatives. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather analyze and document business and system requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in SDLC methodologies particularly Waterfall along with the ability to operate in Agile environments when needed. This position requires strong analytical thinking excellent documentation skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders
• Analyze business processes policies and documentation to identify improvement opportunities
• Elicit document and manage business functional and system requirements
• Develop detailed functional specifications for development and enhancement efforts
• Create use cases process flows (As-Is and To-Be) and mock-ups to support requirements
• Collaborate with development and database teams on system integration and data migration initiatives
• Support system testing validation and change request processes
• Assist in planning prioritization and implementation of system enhancements
• Troubleshoot system data and process-related issues
• Develop training materials and support end-user adoption
• Perform basic SQL queries for data analysis as needed

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within SDLC environments
• Strong experience working in Waterfall methodology (Agile exposure is a plus)
• 7 years of experience in:
  • Writing use cases and requirements documentation
  • Developing business and functional requirements
  • Business process re-engineering
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in business change management
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations preferably in government or public sector environments
