As a Licensed Practical Nurse you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department through the nursing process of interview assessment planning implementation evaluation and triage.
How Youll Contribute
The Emergency Department (ED) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication essential for the delivery of patient care. This 22-bed unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support.
The LPN - LVN is responsible for delivery of patient care in the Emergency patients with:
performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
Monitors documents and communicates patients status and reactions to interventions with RN physician patient and families.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Under the supervision of a professional Nurse (RN).
Will provide emergency care as guided by the CVMC policy and ENA guidelines.

What were looking for:
Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state LPN license and completion of a Practical Nursing Program from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Associates Degree in Nursing required.
- Must have an active Arizona or Compact LPN/LVN License.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
- Must obtain BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire.
