The Position
As the Global Expert Site Masterplanning you will join the Global Capital Investment (GCI) team to lead strategic initiatives that shape our global Sites Network. You will be a trusted partner to the business balancing technical excellence with strategic impact to create inspiring environments where Roche employees innovate for patients. The Opportunity
Lead Site Masterplanning efforts by executing and maintaining Strategic Master Plans (SMP) for all owned properties to reflect long-term business forecasts.
Drive development studies and ad-hoc scenario planning for key projects and initiatives across the global portfolio.
Collaborate with project execution teams to ensure all capital investment projects align with site planning guidelines and Roche standards.
Represent the planning discipline within the Sites Network and relevant Roche communities.
Partner with global real estate teams to ensure land transactions are fully aligned with established site plans.
Research and synthesize insights on urban design and the built environment to continuously evolve our site masterplanning approach.
Who You Are
You are a passionate and courageous leader who acts with integrity and simplifies radically to create sustainable inspiring environments. You are a creative team player prepared to challenge the status quo and inspire others through innovative ideas.
You hold an academic degree in Planning Urban Design Architecture or Landscape Architecture (professional licensure is an advantage).
You bring at least 5 years of experience in urban design and planning projects specifically within complex or highly regulated environments.
You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas graphically and through clear concise presentations.
You are proficient in Adobe Suite (PS ILL INDD) and Google/Office products; CAD or BIM knowledge is a plus.
You thrive in a matrix organization building lasting relationships and demonstrating an openness to diverse cultures.
You are fluent in English and ready for occasional global travel to support our international sites.
