Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Nurse Manager / Clinical Lead Nurse to join their leadership team. This is a key role within the home offering a fantastic opportunity for a clinically strong nurse with proven leadership ability to take the next step in their career.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- A current unrestricted NMC registration (RGN/RN) is essential.
- Demonstrable clinical skills with the confidence to lead on complex nursing and dementia care needs.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing or supervising nursing teams within a care home environment.
- Previous experience working within a nursing home setting is essential.
- A thorough understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with staff residents and families.
- A proactive solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care to older adults.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational running of the nursing home.
- Providing strong clinical leadership acting as a visible and supportive role model for nursing and care staff.
- Overseeing and conducting comprehensive care assessments person-centred care planning and regular reviews.
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation.
- Working collaboratively with GPs allied health professionals residents and their families to deliver holistic care.
- Leading on clinical audits risk assessments and quality improvement initiatives across the home.
- Supporting the recruitment induction mentoring and ongoing development of the nursing team.
- Deputising for the Home Manager in their absence maintaining continuity of leadership and care.
