Job Summary
Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18 years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. Our average length of stay is 17 days. As an Rehab Aide you will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities:
- Transporting patients scheduled for PT OT and ST to and from treatments areas.
- Assist with patient related physical occupational and speech therapy duties and tasks under the on-site supervision of the therapist following therapy association guideline.
- Follow safety standards while preforming patient related duties i.e. good body mechanics transfer belt correct transfer procedures and comply with patient precautions
- Notifies therapist of any resident related problems.
- Assist professional staff as requested
- Preforms assigned clerical duties: filing copying mailing scheduling equipment ordering and timely preparation of charts and assist with maintenance of department records
- prepares maintains and cleans department/treatment areas.
- Assist with leisure activities with patients.
FTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Work Schedule:Monday-Friday from 8-4:30pm
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or TCU environment preferred
