Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Nurse Practitioner - Perioperative/Patient Care Coordinator- at Naval Medical Center San DiegoinCalifornia.
Position Highlights:

Requirements:
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Minimum of 5 years of advanced practice provider experience including at least 3 years in a surgical or procedural subspecialty (e.g. maxillofacial surgery ENT plastic surgery trauma head and neck oncology preferred)
- Demonstrated experience managing complex perioperative patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience coordinating care for multidisciplinary and high-acuity patient populations
- Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and prescribing medications per institutional policy Leadership & Operational Skills
- Experience in care coordination case management or clinical program support
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience overseeing or mentoring clinical support staff and contributing to efficient clinic operations.
- Education: Graduate from an academic program within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Licensure: Possess a current active valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- DEA registration& BLS certification
