Role Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual located in Switzerland to work with our engineering units in Belgium Slovenia Sweden and Switzerland as a Digital Product Owner. Our specialized teams focus on electronic and software development for hydronic circuits within heating and air-conditioning systems.
In this role your first primary responsibility will be to actively contribute to the development of our connected hydronic range.
Key Responsibilities
- You join the team to work on the development of the embedded web apps and mobile apps for configuration of our industrial connected devices. The objective is to bring the easiness of consumer products to professionals while ensuring a strong reliability.
- You will be an be an integral part of the electronics and software team located in Belgium and will work closely with the mechanical R&D team located in Slovenia.
- You translate product roadmap into well-defined product requirements including features user stories and acceptance test criteria.
- You modelize hydronic systems to run simulations of new features prior to the implementation.
- You prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
- You develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they are clearly understood by the development team.
- You refine the product functional design based on an intimate knowledge of the customers technology and hydronics. You actively work with the mechanical R&D team to ensure seamless mechatronic integration.
- You actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals.
- You document the implementations and actively participate to the knowledge transfer in the team.
- You keep a constant technological watch to propose pertinent and innovative evolutions.
What We Are Looking For
- Masters degree in mechanical or control and automation engineering required.
- Background in product development with a good overall vision of embedded electronics and software.
- Balance of digital knowledge hydronic expertise and business value around feature/functions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage influence and inspire team and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Willing to mingle with teammates working on all parts of the digital ecosystem (embedded software cloud iOS/Android industrial communication protocols).
- High degree of organization individual initiative and personal accountability.
- Good knowledge and practice with Agile processes and principles Git embedded software development cloud and databases.
- Good practical knowledge of English is a must; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Motivated eager to learn flexible and collaborative.
