Fire & Safety Summer Students

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring multiple Summer Students on our Fire & Safety team on a temporary basis for onsite work in Regina SK.

Shift: 4 days on 3 days off - 37.33 Hours/week

What youll do:

• The Fire & Safety Students are responsible for carrying out a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks that support the overall operation of the Refinery Complex.
• Candidates must be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Tasks include but are not limited to assisting Fire and Safety Personnel with:
  • Safety Equipment cleaning and Inspections
  • Fire Hose testing
  • Extinguisher inspections
  • Cleaning Emergency Response Equipment (Turnout gear etc.)
  • General cleaning of Firehall and Vehicles
  • Fire System Flushing
• Other duties as assigned.

The Team: You will work closely with other team members across the Fire & Safety team and will report to the Fire Chief.
