TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT SUMMER INTERN - FOR CTA STUDENT
The Milwaukee Rescue Mission is offering one CTA student a paid Training & Development Internship for 6 weeks this summer. This paid internship is available only for a current CTA 11th or 12th grade high school student (including May graduates). The Training & Development Intern will assist the Training & Development Manager with daily training activities and the development of the Milwaukee Rescue Mission (MRM) Hazard Communication Program.
PAY RATE: $11.00/Hour

The Training & Development Intern will assist the Training & Development Manager with daily training activities and the development of the Milwaukee Rescue Mission (MRM) Hazard Communication Program.

WORK SCHEDULE:
- Temporary/Seasonal position June 15 - July 24 2026
- Part-time 10 hours per week Tuesday & Thursdays 10:00am-3:00pm
LOCATION: Central Campus 830 N 19th Street Milwaukee WI. 53233
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in printing and organizing training materials
- Assist in processing training including grading and organization of course materials
- Assist in developing the MRM Hazard Communication Program including:
- Inventorying chemicals on the North and Central Campuses
- Printing and organizing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) into binders
- Developing departmental Hazard Communication Training
- Participate in department approved professional development training including the Mandt De-Escalation Training
- Intern will receive the Mandt Relational Certification at the end of the internship
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current CTA 11th or 12th grade high school student (or graduated in May)
- Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0
- Good school behavior record
- Able and willing to take and follow directions from Training & Development Manager and HR team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new applications
- Detail-orientated
- Developing organizational prioritization and time-management skills
- Developing collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Accepting of supervisor direction correction and feedback
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player
- Reliable in work attendance and being on time daily
- Continue developing a genuine concern for the salvation and spiritual welfare for all those encountered through the ministry of MRM seeking to model and share the hope of the gospel within the established responsibilities of this position.
- A workplace demeanor consistent with a Christian church environment: civil respectful polite and responsive
- Regular attender of an evangelical church whose theology is in alignment with our Statement of Faith and Statement of Biblical Convictions
- Be in agreement with and subscribe to the MRM Statement of Faith and the MRM Statement of Biblical Convictions
- Be a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ which is evident in personal testimony and Christian conduct
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
