Job Summary
A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role focuses on delivering high-quality basic nursing care ensuring patient comfort and supporting routine clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the care team
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort
- Administer medications as directed and within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support clinical staff in routine medical procedures
- Follow all healthcare protocols and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Active New York State LPN License (required at the time of submission)
