The Position

The Roche Pharma Vision is centered on a core ambition: to prevent stop and cure diseases while improving outcomes and reducing costs for patients and healthcare systems response we in PT defined our strategic response how we need to perform to deliver defined by our ambitious North Star Performance Promise and the Network of the Future. Roches network includes multiple platforms increasing in breadth and complexity. We are evolving from a largely Biologic network designed for large volume products to a more agile multi-platform network required to deliver both large volume and very personalized addition we are also entering the obesity treatment space which requires large volume manufacturing.

The Opportunity

• Delivery of the Network of the Future Design (multi-billion CHF investment) including strategic work packages across multiple modalities.

• Driving the annual Strategy Operating model for the Pharma Technical Operations Leadership team.

• Shaping the future vision of the network strategy with a clear roadmap for delivery across both internal and external networks.

• Translating long-range probabilistic forecasts into meaningful strategic choices and defining product allocation guidance for sourcing.

• Connecting across the organization to support the introduction of innovation advanced manufacturing technologies and new platforms.

• Leading and managing the PTLT Strategy Days fostering a focus on Key Strategic Questions within the organization.

• Owning the Product Sourcing governance process through the Product Network Committee and defining inputs for Strategic Workforce planning.

• Synthesizing product strategies into a portfolio-level vision and facilitating aspirational product lifecycle targets with global partners.

• Defining Risk at the PT Level ensuring delivery of initiatives to reduce and mitigate risks as well as translate Risks into business continuity activities that ensure a resilient manufacturing network.

You are a visionary leader and a self-starter who takes the initiative to identify critical business needs. You possess an innovative mindset are willing to take calculated risks and create solutions in complex environments. As a role model for Roches core values and Operating Principles you excel in VACC and Lean leadership demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and drive meaningful change through influence and partnership.

Further you possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Over 20 years of experience in biotech pharmaceuticals with preferred Senior Operational (Site Head or similar) experience.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in pharma end-to-end supply chain management with strong enterprise accountability.

• Proven experience sitting on Enterprise leadership teams and managing P&L responsibilities.

• Strong strategic thinking quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for senior executive leaders.

• Demonstrated track record in managing direct reports and leading in a highly matrixed global setting.

• Ability to travel approximately 30% to meet business needs.
