We are seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join a high-performing secondary school in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity to support practical science teaching across Biology Chemistry and Physics.
The successful candidate will prepare equipment maintain laboratories and support teachers during practical lessons. You will play a key role in ensuring lessons are delivered safely and effectively.
This role requires attention to detail strong organisation and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment for practical lessons
Maintain laboratory resources
Ensure health and safety compliance
Support teachers during experiments
Manage stock and order supplies
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Requirements:
Science-related experience or qualification
Strong organisational skills
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
School experience (desirable)
