Job Summary
A prominent secondary school in Barnet is seeking a proactive and energetic Welfare & Attendance Officer for a full-time role starting ASAP. This position is ideal for a practitioner who enjoys building strong relationships with families to ensure every student is safe and engaged.

Responsibilities
Monitor daily attendance and punctuality conducting home visits where necessary.
Work with the safeguarding team to identify and support students at risk.
Maintain accurate records of student welfare concerns and interventions.
Lead meetings with parents and external agencies to resolve barriers to school attendance.
Create and implement school-wide initiatives to celebrate high attendance.
Requirements
Experience in a welfare social work or attendance role (school experience preferred).
A compassionate yet firm approach to communication.
Proficiency in tracking data and producing welfare reports.
Must have the right to work in the UK.

Full-time permanent contract (term-time only plus two weeks).
