Assignment Description
Are you an experienced Process Engineer looking to contribute to early-phase high-impact energy projects This role offers the opportunity to work in Front End Studies where you will be involved in concept development process simulations and technical documentation. You will join a professional engineering environment in Stavanger supporting the design and optimization of safe and efficient process systems.
Job Responsibilities
Perform process simulations using industry-standard tools (HYSYS UniSim)
Develop and evaluate process concepts during Front End (FEED / concept) studies
Prepare and maintain process design documentation
Conduct flare system design and perform flare simulations
Support development of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Participate in concept selection and optimization activities
Provide technical input for safety operability and efficiency assessments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Review and validate process data and vendor documentation
Contribute to technical discussions and study reports
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering Process Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience in process engineering
At least 3 years of experience in Front End (FEED / concept) studies
Strong hands-on experience with process simulation tools (HYSYS and/or UniSim)
Experience with flare system design and flare simulation tools (Flare System Analyzer or equivalent)
Solid understanding of oil & gas or energy process systems
Experience in preparing process documentation and technical reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Fluent in both Norwegian and English
