Takes the lead on Production engineering support associated with the manufacturing process. Ensures the stability performance and reliability of live production systems and applications.
Responsible for monitoring systems troubleshooting incidents performing root-cause analysis and implementing fixes. This role bridges development and operations requiring strong technical skills to maintain production uptime and delivery. Requires a strong background in engineering with a focus on logistics process control SCADA implementation automation and robotics.
A key aspect of this role is proactively identifying risks and improving production process reliability not just reacting to incidents; .the timely identification and implementation of strategic solutions to complex issues within the organization targeting Takt time improvement.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline analytical thinking and technical experience to support and execute production delivery.

2. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes to drive process improvement.

3. Takes the lead on System Monitoring and monitors application health and performance.

4. Takes the lead on Incident Management: responding to diagnosing and resolving production issues.

5. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conducting investigations into issues to prevent recurrence.

6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and production improvements. Incorporate actions detailed through previous and future Kaizen/Shingi Events helping to drive an ethos of Continuous Improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge: This role requires advanced experience in Manufacturing and requires a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist.
  • Education: Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex high-pressure situations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
