IT Project Manager – ERP & IT Workstream Coordination (SAP Focus)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a major international industrial client within its Business Transformation Office (BTO).

The role focuses on coordinating multiple IT workstreams within complex transformation and integration programs ensuring alignment execution and delivery across different domains.

A key part of the role will be to closely coordinate and oversee the SAP workstream which represents the most critical and complex area of the program.

You will work in close collaboration with senior Program Managers and act as a bridge between program governance and execution ensuring that all IT streams move forward in a consistent and integrated manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee multiple IT workstreams within transformation programs including:

  • SAP
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
  • Master Data & Integrations

• Ensure proper alignment synchronization and dependency management across all workstreams

• Act as a central coordination point between:

  • Internal IT teams
  • External vendors and system integrators
  • Business stakeholders and key users

• Take an active role in the SAP workstream supporting planning tracking and challenging assumptions when needed

• Review and validate project plans timelines and deliverables across workstreams

• Identify assess and manage risks issues and cross-stream dependencies

• Ensure readiness for key milestones (integration phases testing cutover go-live)

• Provide structured and actionable reporting to Program Managers highlighting execution risks and mitigation plans

• Support the enforcement of project governance methodologies and best practices

Required Experience & Skills

• 712 years of experience in IT Project Management or IT Delivery roles

• Proven experience in complex IT programs involving multiple workstreams

• Solid experience in ERP environments (SAP strongly preferred)

  • Understanding of SAP-related processes and project dynamics is required
  • Hands-on SAP experience is a plus but not mandatory

• Experience coordinating cross-functional IT domains such as:

  • ERP
  • Integrations
  • Infrastructure
  • Data management

• Experience in international environments and multi-stakeholder coordination

• Exposure to manufacturing / industrial environments is highly valued

• Strong ability to manage dependencies risks and inter-team coordination

• Ability to influence and coordinate without direct authority

• Structured analytical and execution-oriented mindset

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills including interaction with senior profiles

Education & Languages

• Degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field
• Fluent English (C1 or higher) is mandatory daily interaction in international environments
• Spanish required

Location & Working Model

• Based in San cugat del Vallés (Barcelona) or nearby
• Hybrid model: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
• Availability for occasional travel within Europe
