Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow an established customer base while actively developing new business within the Greater Vancouver territory. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with experience in industrial or B2B sales particularly within the polyethylene packaging sector. The position requires strong relationship management consistent field engagement and a proactive approach to revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and expand an existing portfolio of customers within the assigned territory
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling networking and referrals
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
Conduct regular in-person client visits to support account growth and retention
Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan aligned with company goals
Prepare present and follow up on quotations and proposals
Address customer inquiries resolve issues and ensure timely follow-ups
Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports to management
Collaborate with internal teams (operations production logistics) to meet customer needs
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 year of experience in industrial or B2B sales
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
Experience managing a sales territory and generating new business
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel regularly within the territory
Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus)
Experience in plastics polyethylene or packaging industry
Existing network or contacts within the plastics/manufacturing sector
Background in B2B manufacturing sales environments
Demonstrated success in cold calling and lead generation
