We are seeking a Data Analyst / BI Developer to join our team. This role will involve developing dashboards performing data analysis administering BI tools and supporting business users with reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python SQL Tableau Power BI and MS Teams administration and a passion for data-driven decision-making and business intelligence.

Job Title: Data Analyst / BI Developer

Location: Lansing Michigan (Hybrid)

Duration: 5-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Rate/Salary: $35 $50/hour (Based on experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / BI Developer to support analytics and reporting initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining dashboards analyzing datasets and supporting enterprise collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI
Perform data analysis and scripting using Python
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
Administer Tableau environments and support MS Teams platform
Provide technical training in classroom or virtual settings
Assist business users with troubleshooting data reports and dashboards
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

1 years of professional experience in Python programming/analysis
1 years of Tableau Site Administration and dashboard development
1 years of experience with Power BI (report development and support)
1 years of experience writing SQL queries
1 years of MS Teams administration experience
1 years of experience as a technical trainer

Work Schedule (Non-Negotiable Hybrid):

Onsite: Wednesdays & Thursdays
Remote: Mondays Tuesdays & Fridays

Additional Requirements:

Must be local to Lansing MI (within 60 miles) at time of submission
Must attend a 30-minute virtual interview via MS Teams (video required)
Candidate must join via laptop and be ready to share screen if requested
