Job Summary

Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center/Pulmonary Services is looking for locum NP coverage with ICU/Critical Care Experience!

Dates needed:
June
Day shifts -30

July
Day shifts
Night shifts - 24-27

Augustdays or nights will determine when we get closer

Aug - ongoing - specific shifts TBD. Will work around Locum availability as much as possible. Must be able to cover at least one stint per month.

Job Details:
Reason for Coverage: coverage while credentialing new providers - will be ongoing need
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 13 avg; can range from 1-20
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Procedures: able to place CVLs HD caths and arterial lines
Patient Age Demographic: Adult
APP will be Working Autonomously.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Vent management with assistance of RTs
monitoring of admitting critical care patients / availability to assist with decompensating patients overnight
Admitting new critical care patients from the ED hospital floor and several surrounding hospitals
Procedures such as central lines arterial lines and dialysis catheters
Updating family/ goals of care when patients decompensate overnight

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 2-4 weeks

Facility Reimbursement for the Following Costs: Flight Hotel Rental Car Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
Hotel maximum $150/night
Car/Uber maximum $50/day
All other bookings must be standard/economy

Requirement description :
Board Certified NP - REQUIRED
Active Virginia license and DEA - REQUIRED
BLS/ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
MUST be available to cover the dates to be considered - REQUIRED
Must be able to cover every month - REQUIRED
Must have critical care experience - REQUIRED
Clean background is 100% for Temp Privs - REQUIRED
