Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Job Description:
As a Senior Business Analyst you will support technical teams by leading the elicitation analysis and documentation of system and functional requirements for new development initiatives and enhancements to existing applications. You will work primarily within a Waterfall delivery environment while coordinating with teams that use Agile practices for work tracking ensuring requirements are clear complete and actionable to support successful system development and business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Collect analyze and document business rules processes and regulatory or policy requirements.
• Analyze legislation policies procedures and related documentation to determine required system changes.
• Develop and document detailed business system and functional requirements for complex applications.
• Prepare functional specifications use cases and other requirements artifacts to support development.
• Develop process flows mockups and As Is/To Be documentation to support analysis and design.
• Collaborate with development and database teams on data migration and system integration needs.
• Support system testing change requests and prioritization of system enhancements.
• Assist with creation of training materials and troubleshooting of system or process issues.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Minimum 7 years of experience working within the SDLC using Waterfall and or Agile methodologies.
• Minimum 7 years of experience eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Minimum 7 years of experience writing use cases and detailed requirements documentation.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in business process re engineering and improvement initiatives.
• Experience independently executing analysis responsibilities with minimal oversight.
• Ability to analyze complex documentation and translate it into system requirements.
• Experience performing basic SQL queries for analysis purposes.
• Strong analytical problem solving and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with business change management and requirements tracking tools preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
