Contract: 12 months (with potential extension based on performance)
Client: A leading multinational telecommunications company Motorola
Overview:
As a Localization Engineer PC youll ensure global readiness of PC products by enabling seamless localization workflows technical integration and automation.
Responsibilities
Prepare analyze and process files for translation across PC titles.
Build and maintain scripts/tools to automate localization workflows.
Collaborate with linguists PMs and developers to integrate localized assets.
Troubleshoot encoding formatting and file conversion issues.
Validate localized builds and ensure proper implementation.
Maintain documentation for tools workflows and processes.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field; Masters preferred.
24 years in localization engineering or related technical role.
Knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON XML CSV).
Familiarity withscripting (Python)
Experience with Linux bash terminal
Knowledge in pipeline automation
Familiarity with Git or version control tools.
Tech Stack
Languages: Python Bash/PowerShell.
Formats: JSON XML CSV HTML YAML
Tools: Git Jenkins/CI
Environment: Windows/PC pipelines.
Nice to Have: build automation tools.
