Job Summary
JD:
Purpose
The Designer will be responsible for preparing 3D models and drawings in AVEVA E3D Design
along with BoM (bill of material) for assembled equipment involving international standards
Focuses on routing modeling and layout.
Position profile
Preparation & self-checking of Basic and detail drawings for piping as guided by the reporting
engineer/ manager
Preparation and self-checking of Onboard equipment piping.
Preparation of Bill of Material (BoM)
Study reference drawings and get familiarized quickly with the equipment.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required
ITI draftsman or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years experience required
A thorough hand on experience on preparation of 3D models drawings in AVEVA E3D Design and AutoCAD are must. Candidate must have been working on in AVEVA E3D Design continuously atleast for last 2 years or atleast 3 years if worked in past (not more than 1 year)
Good knowledge of dimensioning.
Ensure all designs comply with international standards (e.g. ASME B31.3) and safety regulations.
Piping Design/Layout Engineer Focuses on routing modeling layout and supports.
Material Selection & Procurement Prepare material specifications (PMS) and bills of materials (BMS) including valve datasheets and piping specialty items.
Extracting checking and producing piping isometric drawings.
Performing clash detection and resolving model conflicts.
Able to communicate/report technical challenges e ectively with the reporting
engineer/manager.
