Responsibilities
Qualifications
Overall cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms including dusting vacuuming sanitizing and replenishment of soap paper products etc. Coverage staff for Maintenance C workers.
Responsibilities
- Dusts high surfaces (above shoulder height).
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and restores dispensers with soap and paper products.
- Removes trash relines trash containers and cleans receptacles if required.
- Dusts mops and damp mops floors in patients rooms. Vacuums damp mops and shampoos carpeted floors including corridors.
- Covers for Maintenance C employees when necessary in the cleaning of offices the day room and ancillary areas.
- Cleans rooms upon patient discharge.
- Stocks patient room with other items such as hospital literature towels admission kits and other related items. Stocks floor deliveries in the proper storage areas.
- Empties needle boxes.
- Replaces soiled draperies.
- Cleans patient refrigerators.
