Project description

Bingel is the adaptive all-round platform for primary education where teachers and pupils are central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning preparing coaching and assessing. It provides an adaptive digital teaching practicing and testing with engaging interactions that make learning a fun and memorable experience.


About the role

Were looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our Scrum team. Youll help us build and improve an educational app that truly enhances the learning experience. The role is mainly focused on automation (around 80%) with some manual testing (20%).

Key responsibilities are:

• Create and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:Develop and maintain automated test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Framework Development:Design and implement automation frameworks that are scalable maintainable and reusable.
• Develop Test Strategies:Collaborate with the QA team and stakeholders to define the overall test automation strategy and roadmap.
• Execute Test Scripts:Run automated test scripts on different environments and platforms ensuring that the software behaves as expected across all scenarios.
• Integrate Tests with CI/CD Pipelines:Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback on code changes.
  

Must-have requirements

Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
English proficiency: B2/C1 (both written and spoken communication).
Spanish proficiency: C1/C2 (both written and spoken communication).
Strong experience in UI automation using Java and Selenium (at least 4 years)
Hands-on experience in back-end/API automation using Java and RestAssured.
Experience with data mocking and test data management.
Experience working with CI/CD tools such asJenkinsandBitbucket including pipeline configuration and maintenance.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

Experience with performance testing (e.g. Gatling or similar tools)
