About the Role

Jabil is seeking a Sector Materials Manager to lead and drive materials operations for a specific sector operation within the Guangzhou campus. This role is a key leadership position within the sector management team responsible for delivering robust materials planning purchasing and inventory control to support customer requirements and business growth.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage the Sector Materials organization covering purchasing planning and inventory management functions within the sector operation
• Ensure materials supply is fully aligned with customer demand while optimizing cost service level and inventory turns
• Drive disciplined execution of demand planning MPS materials planning and production planning within the sector
• Optimize total materials cost including material price variance freight inventory holding and materials management cost
• Minimize material liability and ensure all material commitments are covered by appropriate customer authorization
• Support sector-level business development activities including customer engagement and RFQs
• Lead supplier selection and performance management based on cost delivery and quality
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies systems and process improvements within the sector
• Build and develop a high-performing materials team with strong talent development and succession planning

What Were Looking For

• 510 years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing industry with hands-on responsibility for Purchasing Planning and Materials Management
• Proven experience managing teams responsible for material control functions
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Materials Management or related field
  (MBA and/or APICS certification is a plus)
• Strong capabilities in leadership communication business analysis process/system development and change management
• Solid knowledge of materials management systems and the ability to resolve complex supply delivery and cost challenges
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
