What Youll Do

• Respond to fire medical hazardous materials weather and facility emergencies
• Perform fire suppression using fire apparatus hydrants hose stations and extinguishers
• Conduct rescue operations including vehicle machinery and high- and low-angle rescues
• Provide medical response including patient care triage stabilization and transport
• Communicate incident details with dispatch supervisors and medical personnel
• Assist with hazardous materials spill containment
• Conduct patrols escorts access control and safety monitoring as needed
• Complete required reports logs and documentation

Required Qualifications

• NFPA Firefighter I & II
• Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations
• EMT or EMR certification (Indiana or National Registry)
• Out-of-state certifications must be transferable to Indiana within 90 days of hire
• Ability to meet and maintain all applicable state county and local certification requirements
• Ability to meet the physical and certification requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
