Job title: | BSP Creditor and Helpdesk Support Consultant | |||
Purpose: | This is a specialized role responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of all airline ticketing transactions processed through the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) system in compliance with IATA regulations. This role supports financial integrity timely reporting and resolution of discrepancies between agency records and BSP statements. | |||
Primary duties and responsibilities (KRAs) |
Weekly importing of BSP HOT files. Reconcile BSP statements against internal booking and ticketing records. (sales refunds taxes commissions and FOP) Process and monitor Refunds ADM (Agency Debit Memo) and ACM (Agency Credit Memo) via BSP Link. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and settlement reports by correcting invoices and credit notes. Daily Amadeus VOID reports to action in Protas. Understanding NDC content and navigating TPConnects and Thomalex. Manage and follow-up on overdue airline refunds and ACM debtors. Liaise with airlines GDS providers and IATA for dispute resolution and compliance. Maintain documentation for audits and compliance checks. (PDF Billings) Ensure secure handling of financial and customer data in line with company policies and PCI Compliance. Query management and relationship building with key stakeholders ensuring the agreed deliverables and turn-around times are adhered to. Reporting duties: Ensure the required drives are updated and communicated in the agreed method standard and timeline to Operations. Assist TL to ensure timely remittance and adherence to IATA deadlines. Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Operational support and customer service to front-end FCM and Corporate Traveller travel managers and area leaders. Internal and External support and query management for Envoyage. Internal support and query management for other support businesses e.g. Ticket Centre Supply and other Finance teams. Internal support and query management for shares services teams. Managing all queries timeously (within 2 days) through Freshdesk/Salesforce.
Weekly rotating directorships:
