Job Title: Pharmacist (Hospital/Clinical)

Location: Hyannis MA 02601

Duration: 26 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations by preparing dispensing and managing medications in compliance with federal and state regulations as well as organizational standards. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and effective medication use while providing clinical support to healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare dispense and control medications in accordance with applicable laws and hospital policies
• Review medication orders for accuracy appropriateness dosage and compatibility
• Compound medications including IV admixtures TPN and other specialized products
• Ensure proper labeling storage and record-keeping of pharmaceuticals
• Monitor and assign tasks to pharmacy support staff
• Provide drug information and clinical guidance to physicians nurses and healthcare teams
• Maintain medication inventory and supply across patient care units
• Support medication order entry and clinical services including after-hours coverage as needed
• Stay current with pharmaceutical advancements and best practices
• Deliver high-quality service to patients staff and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program
• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License
• Ability to practice hospital pharmacy in accordance with current standards
• Experience with pharmacy systems and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of medication safety compounding and clinical pharmacology
