Job Summary
Overview:
We are looking to strengthen its finance department by hiring a Certified Accountant with the possibility for the role to evolve into Accounting Manager depending on the candidates seniority and experience.
Location: Benficain an area close to the train station.
Working arrangement: On-site.
What will you do
- Ensure the proper accounting treatment of the groups companies
- Ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations
- Perform bank reconciliations accruals deferrals and periodic closings
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings
- Monitor the accounting organization of the various group companies
- Work closely with the Finance Department and other team members
What are we looking for
- Certification as a Certified Accountant is mandatory
- Solid experience in accounting preferably in a corporate environment rather than in an accounting firm
- Team management experience will be valued for the Accounting Manager role
- Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and sense of responsibility
- Good leadership communication and teamwork skills
- English is not required
