Lead the design implementation and optimization of on-premises compute infrastructure using Cisco UCS VMware Hyper-V and SCVMM
Architect scalable secure and high-performance compute solutions across multiple data centers
Drive infrastructure standardization governance and architectural best practices
Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver infrastructure aligned with business and technical requirements
Own end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle including design deployment and optimization
Lead automation initiatives using tools like PowerShell Ansible Terraform and scripting frameworks
Oversee disaster recovery backup strategies and high availability architecture
Guide hybrid cloud integrations such as VMware Cloud on AWS and Azure VMware Solutions
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within product teams
Contribute to strategic infrastructure roadmap and evaluate emerging technologies
What You Bring to the Table:
Strong hands-on experience with VMware stack (vSphere vSAN NSX) at L3 level
Deep expertise in Hyper-V and SCVMM for enterprise-scale environments
Proven experience in managing multi-data center compute infrastructure
Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform PowerShell Ansible or Bash
Experience in private cloud environments (IaaS PaaS SaaS)
Solid understanding of compute storage networking and virtualization layers
Experience with automation of VM lifecycle and infrastructure provisioning
Exposure to hybrid cloud platforms (Azure VMware Solution VMware Cloud on AWS)
Strong troubleshooting experience in ESXi vCenter clustering and VM performance issues
Experience with backup DR solutions and infrastructure resilience strategies
Familiarity with Agile SAFe frameworks and working within Agile Release Trains
You should possess the ability to:
Design complex infrastructure architectures and validate technical feasibility
Troubleshoot deep technical issues across VMware Hyper-V and compute layers
Optimize infrastructure performance using DRS affinity rules and resource allocation strategies
Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks and improve operational efficiency
Implement security best practices including RBAC hardening and compliance controls
Perform capacity planning and proactively scale infrastructure
Lead infrastructure upgrades patching and migrations with minimal downtime
Communicate effectively with architects product owners and engineering teams
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Work independently while also guiding and mentoring junior team members
