Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our dynamic team at Euro Car Parts Windhoek. This role is essential in delivering a seamless and positive customer experience by ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing maintaining a clean and organized checkout area and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process cash card and digital payments in compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Provide friendly professional and efficient customer service during all transactions.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding products pricing and promotions with clarity and confidence.
- Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked checkout area at all times.
- Reconcile daily sales reports and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Identify and resolve minor customer issues promptly escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak periods.
- Adhere to health safety and security protocols in the store and at the checkout counter.
- Support inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment as required.

- 01 year of relevant work experience in retail customer service or a similar environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle transaction errors customer complaints and operational challenges.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven time management and efficiency in handling multiple tasks under pressure.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cash handling pricing and record-keeping.

- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Skills:
Requirements: 13 years of experience in sales customer service or a related field (automotive experience is a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to deliver high satisfaction. Demonstrated active listening skills to accurately identify customer needs. Effective problem-solving abilities to resolve customer issues and close sales confidently. Solid time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using basic office and CRM software tools.
