Manager I, Risk, Inventory Trust SPIV
Job Summary
* This role is for an experienced L4 People Manager in the Risk job family to lead a team of L4 Risk Specialists focused on mitigating inbound and inventory risks. The candidate will provide leadership and administrative support to direct reports drive process improvements perform program lifecycle audits and conduct peer reviews. Key responsibilities include program-level ownership of risk mitigation initiatives collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement risk-based improvements creating operational efficiencies and conducting deep-dive analyses. The ideal candidate should possess high-judgment decision-making skills basic SQL knowledge and the ability to influence key stakeholders through data-driven papers to support organizational goals.
Key job responsibilities
This team is required to work on high judgement investigations & risk mitigations initiatives. The role also requires to work in rotational shifts and week offs.
* Manage a group of L4 Risk Specialists in order to mitigate risk in Inventory Trust.
* Manage individual and team performance expectations and goals monitoring real-time service levels and schedule adherence and holding his/her teams accountable to meet and exceed performance targets.
* Monitor key performance metrics for productivity quality risk mitigation initiatives and ops efficiency improvement initiatives and provide guidance to constantly meet and exceed goals.
* Develop employees and their skill sets to expand the team capabilities and provide growth opportunities for future Amazon leaders.
* Apply risk management best practices to mitigate issues identify operational inefficiencies and improve processes.
* Partner with cross-functional teams across Amazon for collaboration on fraud risks and investigations.
* Strive for operational excellence and process improvement. Analyze the key levers of the business to identify trends and proactively act to eliminate root causes for defects.
About the team
The Inventory Trust (IT) has set up the INSPIRE team focused on investigating and enforcing registered bad actors using Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) services. The goal is to prevent bad inventory from being inbounded into our Fulfilment Centre (FC) network. We intend to side-line and remove bad inventory effectively as possible and stop bad actor inventory from entering the FC network with an effective reinstatement and appeals process.
- Experience working on identity verification/fraud detection processes
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office products at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience in a program management or project management role
