Job Summary
Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of Chemistry to teach up to three sections including general chemistry lecture or laboratory or an elective course. The course(s) will be taught in person beginning August 24 2026 in the Fall 2026 semester or January 12 2027 in the spring semester; the employment period extends for two weeks following the completion of the semester. This position would be an opportunity to gain perspective on teaching in the Department of Chemistry at a liberal arts college where close interactions between students and faculty are expected. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The rank will be Adjunct Assistant Professor or Adjunct Instructor depending on qualifications. The salary is $7000 per lecture course and $3500 per laboratory course.
