Are you a creative and ambitious DT Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity A successful secondary school in a leafy area of Havering is seeking to appoint a talented DT Teacher to join its thriving Design & Technology department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate DT Teacher to teach Design & Technology with a focus on Resistant Materials up to GCSE level. The role will include teaching:

• Resistant Materials up to GCSE
• Timber plastics textiles electronics paper and board and metal
• Manufacturing processes and technical drawing
• Sustainability social and environmental impact
• Mechanical systems and product design
• Research iterative design and evaluating
• CAD/CAM modelling prototyping and practical workshop skills

The appointed DT Teacher will join a department with strong uptake at GCSE where students are enthusiastic about practical learning and enjoy applying creativity alongside technical knowledge.
