We are currently looking for a Territory Manager to join our UK & Ireland Diabetes Care team covering North Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to make a real impact on patient outcomes while driving sustainable business growth.
Primary Objective
As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for driving patient acquisition sales performance and market share growth across the FreeStyle Libre portfolio and associated digital solutions. You will achieve this by executing national strategy at a local level building deep partnerships with customers and positioning Abbott Diabetes Care solutions within local pathways and guidelines.
You will work across ICS/ICB/Health Boards/Trusts diabetes centres in specialist and primary care engaging primarily with diabetes healthcare professionals and market access stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Drive adoption of the FreeStyle Libre system broader FreeStyle portfolio and digital ecosystem across target accounts in North Wales
Build trusted partnerships with ICS/ICB/Health Boards/Trusts diabetes centres and primary care accounts through a strong understanding of local needs and patient pathways
Educate physicians nurses diabetes specialist nurses (DSNs) healthcare educators and patients on FreeStyle Libre use and data insights
Identify opportunities to grow patient acquisition in line with local health economy (LHE) guidance and NHS pathways
Develop advocacy for Abbott Diabetes Care with key consultants clinical leads GPs practice nurses payers and patient associations
Create and implement high-quality account and business plans to maximise commercial opportunities
What Youll Bring
EducationExperience & Skills
Further or higher education qualification
Proven track record in sales ideally within healthcare medical devices or pharmaceuticals
Strong inperson and remote selling capability
Confident presenter with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
Experience using virtual engagement platforms
Strong planning organisation and timemanagement skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build longterm customer relationships
A proactive solutionsfocused mindset with a strong customer orientation
