Job Description:
The Graduate Intern for Well-Being Initiatives will support the planning implementation and assessment of programs designed to promote student wellness at Baylor University. This role will focus on fostering a campus culture of holistic well-being through educational initiatives outreach efforts and engagement opportunities for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and coordinating wellness programs workshops and events for the student body.
  • Support the Peer Health Educators and Well-Being Ambassador program including training communication and scheduling.
  • Help create and distribute educational materials on mental health substance use prevention stress management and other well-being topics.
  • Manage communication channels (email group chats social media) to engage students and share resources.
  • Collect and analyze participation data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to enhance outreach and student engagement in wellness initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling maintaining records and preparing reports.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a Public Health graduate program at Baylor.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for student development wellness education and promoting a healthy campus culture.
  • Experience in event planning peer education or student leadership is preferred.
