Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a hospital-based assignment. This role includes providing care across labor and delivery postpartum and nursery units in a dynamic acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients in labor and delivery postpartum and nursery units
Assist with and circulate cesarean section procedures
Scrub for C-sections (preferred)
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care accurately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain adherence to safety quality and infection control standards

Schedule & Work Details:

3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Floating required between L&D postpartum and nursery units

Requirements:

Current New York State RN license
BLS certification (must be current or eligible for recertification)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (within the last 2 years)
Experience in hospitals of similar or higher acuity preferred
Experience circulating C-sections (required)
Scrubbing experience for C-sections (preferred)
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
