Job Summary
A day of play
Provide inclusive fun and engaging care for the children including collecting them from school and safely handing over to parents/carers
Assist with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm; encouraging maximum participation
Ensure all activities are age and ability appropriate while using equipment and space safely
Provide refreshments for the children ensuring hygiene and Health & Safety standards are met Core support responsibilities:
Provide practical hands-on support to enable the effective delivery of activities within the club
Carry out tasks requiring physical involvement including setting up moving and packing away equipment and resources
Support the safe and smooth running of sessions by assisting with all physical aspects of the role
Work closely with the assigned team member and wider team to ensure activities are delivered effectively
Set up and take down the play space including moving furniture and equipment
Follow all Health and Safety protocols and ensure relevant documentation is completed
Ensure all children are signed in and out correctly
Communicate professionally with team members parents children and schools
Conduct equipment checks and maintenance
Provide first aid where necessary
Ensure all information relating to children is kept confidential and secure
