Marketing Specialist, Alliances
Job Summary
In collaboration with the Manager Marketing Alliances the incumbent acts as a specialist in advertising campaigns with partners identified as strategic for Transat (airports tourism boards hotel chains brands in the tourism industry or any industry compatible with Transats activities).
The incumbent is responsible for creating advertising plans that meet business partners needs while ensuring the proper management of Transats media inventories. They develop and oversee the execution of advertising plans and contribute to the achievement of performance objectives for the Marketing Alliances group.
Responsibilities:
- Build advertising plans based on allocated budgets partner objectives and targeted profitability levels.
- Manage internal inventory: reservation planning and monitoring of Transat media inventories.
- Manage external inventory: reservation and follow-up with external suppliers for third-party placements.
- Oversee the proper execution of advertising plans.
- Write creative briefs for the internal studio team and follow up on creative development.
- Obtain partner approvals and ensure delivery of creative assets to internal teams and external suppliers.
- Compile analyze and share campaign reports.
- Work closely with internal teams (Product Marketing Web Studio) to execute relevant plans within required timelines.
- Meet with Marketing Alliances partners and present advertising plans.
- Optimize and automate operational processes.
- Analyze market trends by destination to build relevant plans.
- Support the manager in the development of new partners (airports and others).
- Conduct strategic and competitive intelligence activities.
Qualifications :
- University studies in Marketing or relevant experience in the field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of the media environment and current trends (traditional digital social media and commercial marketing).
- Dynamic autonomous outgoing and creative.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ease in building relationships and representing the Marketing Alliances group.
- Knowledge of MS Office software and Atlassian tools (JIRA Confluence).
- Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry (an asset).
- Oral and written proficiency in French and English* Knowledge of Spanish (an asset)
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions offered in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues partners and other stakeholders in Quebec Canada and internationally.
