A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic apprentice to join East Suffolk Council asa Planning Information Support Apprenticein ourPlanning and Building Control service area.
This apprenticeship opportunity could be your ideal first step on the career ladder in the Planning or Building Control field.
Your role
You will learn how to maintain accurate land and property records on both GIS and on database systems. You will also be trained to provide support and advice to end users and colleagues within the Council regarding the use of land and property systems.
Excellent numeracy ICT and written skills will be essential to this role as well as developing a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will need:
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills an aptitude for ICT andbe educated to A-level standardorequivalent. You will also haveEnglish and MathsGCSEs at Grades 4 -9 or Grade C and above(or equivalent).Nopreviousexperience isrequired as full training will be provided however a passion to be a positive and professional ambassador for the counciland provide the best experience for our customersisa must.
The ideal candidate will show self-motivation and a willingness to learn in this profession.
