Operational Risk Analyst

What will you be doing 

Were seeking a talented individual to join our team in London which is responsible for assisting in a wide-ranging aspect of development and business-as-usual activities across the risk management framework.

As Operational Risk Analyst your responsibilities will include among others

• Assist the business in the process of capturing assessing reporting and escalating of risk events and maintenance of the Groups risk event reporting system.
• Support with the production of the Groups Key Risk Dashboard and other monthly reporting highlighting key trends and themes.
• Review and challenge the businesses Risk and Control Self Assessments.
• Assist in the completion of Deep Dives into specific areas of focus and interest Principal Risk Assessment and Appetite statements.
• The development and production of top-down key risk assessments and scenario analysis.
• Preparing and delivering risk management training to the business.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should:

• Experience working in a corporate environment. 
• Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner and solve problems quickly with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines with a flexible approach to priorities.
• Team player but with the ability to work independently on tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: including Word and Excel.

Desired: 

• Experience in Risk management ideally gained within a financial services organisation.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Relevant professional qualification(s) advantageous but not essential.
