Working Student Data, Automation & AI in R&D (Semiconductor Development)
Job Summary
About this role:
As a Working Student in our R&D organization you will help accelerate innovation and new product development by improving how we use data automation and AI in day-to-day engineering work. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project stakeholders and deliver practical solutions that reduce manual effort and increase data reliabilityturning good ideas into repeatable workflows and tools.
What you will do:
Support data quality and data preparation (clean-up structuring metadata consistency) to make analytics and AI use cases reliable.
Build and improve small automation solutions for recurring R&D tasks (e.g. data imports workflows dashboards).
Maintain and enhance knowledge and collaboration spaces and contribute to structured documentation/archives that help teams work faster and reuse knowledge.
Contribute directly to R&D projects by clarifying needs with colleagues and delivering outcomes in a transparent stakeholder-friendly way.
What you will need:
Enrollment in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering Data Science / AI Computer Science / Informatics Electrical Engineering & IT Physics / Computational Science (Techno-)Mathematics or comparable (Bachelor or Master).
Hands-on experience (or strong interest) in Python and working with data (e.g. data cleaning analysis automation).
A structured reliable and self-driven work style; you communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.
Flexibility to handle both standard and special tasks.
Curiosity and creativity willingness to learn experiment and grow.
Fluent in English (German is a plus).
Nice to have: practical experience implementing AI/ML solutions.
