Les Cours fédérales jouent un rôle clé dans larchitecture judiciaire canadienne bien quelles demeurent relativement méconnues. Ce cours vise à familiariser les étudiantes et les étudiants avec les principaux recours relevant de leur compétence et les règles de procédure applicables. À travers une approche combinant fondements théoriques et expérience pratique ce cours offre aux étudiants une initiation concrète à la pratique devant les Cours fédérales notamment par le biais dactivités expérientielles.

Exigences minimales
La Section de droit civil veut recruter des professeurs à temps partiel qui sont des leaders dans la profession juridique. Pour ce cours un LL.L un J.D est nécessaire. Le candidate ou candidate doit aussi être membre en bonne et due forme du Barreau du Québec (ou son équivalent). Il ou elle doit aussi avoir une expérience en matière de plaidoirie une expérience pratique significative devant les cours fédérales et maîtriser les règles des cours fédérales.

À sa discrétion la Section de droit civil se réserve le droit de sélectionner un postulant ne répondant pas entièrement aux critères de laffichage si sa sélection serait dans lintérêt du programme du cours des étudiants ou une autre justification connexe.
