About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of civil construction projects from pre-construction planning through to completion and close-out. This role works closely with clients field teams subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.
This position requires a proactive organized and solutions-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic project environment. Project demands timelines and priorities may shift based on operational needs requiring strong adaptability and decision-making skills.
The Project Manager will also contribute to improving project execution processes cost tracking reporting and overall project performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle from planning through execution and close-out
Partner with clients stakeholders and internal teams to define project scope timelines and deliverables
Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource plans
Monitor project progress and adjust plans proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
Lead and support field teams ensuring alignment with company standards safety practices and project goals
Coordinate subcontractors suppliers and vendors including contract preparation and management
Review and manage project costs budgets and financial performance including forecasting and variance analysis
Prepare and provide regular project updates and reporting to leadership and clients
Support material procurement purchase orders and equipment coordination
Identify and resolve constructability challenges and operational issues
Manage change orders and extra work orders including pricing and approvals
Ensure compliance with contract requirements specifications and quality standards
Support development of site-specific plans including safety traffic management and quality control
Mentor coach and support development of project team members
Lead project close-out activities including documentation and post-project reviews
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Identify opportunities to improve project processes reporting and execution
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil construction
Experience managing projects such as earthworks utilities pipelines and road construction
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with budgeting cost control and project financials
Experience working with subcontractors and contract administration
Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or related field is an asset
. designation or PMP certification is considered an asset
Experience with HeavyJob and HeavyBid software is an asset
Strong understanding of construction methods scheduling and project delivery

Valid First Aid and CSTS 2020 certification
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing as required
Completion of corporate and site-specific orientations
Use of required PPE at all times on-site
Work Environment & Compensation
This role is primarily project-based and includes time spent in both office and field environments. Travel to job sites across Western Canada is required. Work conditions may include outdoor environments variable weather and physically demanding site conditions.
